09:53 pm - so...it's been a while Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted in this....my life is completely different than it was the last time I posted here. First off, my father is a horrible, bad person. why? because he left us...oh well. For those of you who know me well, you know that I never got along with him all that well anyway. I still can't believe he did this though. I never thought he would be such a coward. oh well.. On to happier moments.... I am GRADUATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY....finally!!!!!!! I am going to be the proud recipient of a college degree on May 23rd. I am currently on a massive job hunt...hopefully I can become a Resident Director at a college, because I love being an RA at Framingham State....any way, that is all for now.... 10:16 am - Re: Been a long time.... Hey everyone who reads this....Yes I know it has been awhile since I updated my journal...my computer access at home is not so good...so what's been going on with me...hmmm Well, I am officially an RA!!! YAY!!!! I have been extremely busy with that...we had 2 weeks of training before school started, and then just getting adjusted to being back in school took me a few days. School is going good. I'm very busy. I have 5 classes this semester instead of four, because I am a TA for one of my professors. But I'm having fun...so far. And, I miss all my friends at home!!! I'll visit, I promise!! 11:22 pm - An Adventure of sorts...... So....I had quite an adventure with my best friend Janine tonight. We decided to go to Boston together...good idea, right?? Yeah, not when she is driving and I am giving directions. We met at the Natick Mall, and had lunch and left the Natick Mall at 3pm...(Keep note of the time..its important)...Anyway, we get on Rte. 9 and start driving...all we want to do is go to the Prudential Center and maybe FAO Shwartz. Well, we got kinda screwed up and to make a long driving story short...we did not actually get inside the Pru until 5pm!!! But, on a happy note...we saw pretty much all of Boston on our trek. And...well,...we kinda almost killed someone. We had our blinker on to take a right into the parking lot, after we finally found our way and a guy on a bike was in Janine's blind spot on the passenger side, and we almost hit him when we were turning...he was not happy about that to say the least, and Janine is yelling at him for getting in her way...Quite an adventure. We were so relieved and happy by the time we got into the mall, we had a blast together while we were there. So...that was my evening. I'm an exciting little monkey, aren't I... 05:22 pm - A Bad day that turned into a good day!!! So....here is how I started out my day today....with the fire alarm going off at 3:30 this morning!!!!!!!!! UGHH!!!! Twice in two days. Apparantly someone decided to make popcorn and burned it to the point of setting off the fire alarm. I think there should be a rule about cooking food late at night, so things like that don't happen....Anyway, I didn't get back to bed til after 4:30, and I had an 8:30 am powerpoint presentation for my research methods in psych class. I think it went pretty well though, despite my lack of productive sleep. Anyway.....now for my good day news I got hired to be an ra next year!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! When I originally applied, I got put on a wait list. I got a call today saying they have a position for me. I am going to be in O'Conner which is one of the girls only dorms on the Framingham State campus. I'm so happy!!! I can't wait to get started. Hopefully next year will be a great year. 11:50 pm - Ok...so I hurt myself... I have got to be the biggest klutz in the entire world. How I am still walking is beyond me!!!! Yeah...so I left my friends dorm room tonight and walked across the street to go back to my dorm room, when I realized that I left my keys in her room. So I turned around to go back and get my keys, tripped on the sidewalk and fell down. I hurt my knee, my elbow and my little finger :-(....AND these two girls out there smoking had to hold in their laughter while asking me if I was ok. So now...my knee AND my pride is hurt. Oh well, I managed to laugh it off and now it will probably be my funny story for the week. I'm a funny little monkey aren't I... Anyway...time for bed...big presentation tomorrow...very nervous...wish me luck!!!! Current Mood: sleepy Current Music: watching the end of Law and Order

12:29 am - sad, sad, sad I just found out tonight that my absolute favorite manager from my store at home left last week. He moved back home because his wife hated it out here. I am so sad, because he left of course, but also because I never got a chance to say goodbye to him. I realize that things change and nothing can ever stay the same, but i don't have to like change right?? Right?? Well, I hope he has fun at his new store. 12:33 am - damn fire alarms!!! Yeah, so I was asleep, until some drunken idiot in my dorm decided that it would be fun to pull the fire alarm. So, I got woken up out of a sound sleep to go stand outside for a half an hour. I swear, next time this happens, there better be a fire somewhere. This happens way too much!! Dumb Warnings Now, this is a great website....it basically tells all the stupid laws that states still have on record...for example: In Newton, MA: All families must be given a hog from the town's mayor. In Boston, MA: It is illegal to play the fiddle. No one may cross the Boston Common without carrying a shotgun in case of bears. Duels to the death permitted on the common on Sundays provided that the Governor is present. Oh...and goatees are illegal in Mass. if you don't have a special liscence to have one in public. This is only the beginning...it has laws for every state, plus dumb warnings from the stuff you buy. Yup, I dig it... Current Mood: amused Current Music: nada

Now, I don't blame him cause he run and hid But the meanest thing that he ever did Was before he left, he went and named me "Sue." Well, he must o' thought that is quite a joke And it got a lot of laughs from a' lots of folk, It seems I had to fight my whole life through. Some gal would giggle and I'd get red And some guy'd laugh and I'd bust his head, I tell ya, life ain't easy for a boy named "Sue." But I made a vow to the moon and stars That I'd search the honky-tonks and bars And kill that man who gave me that awful name. 09:46 pm - A Good Day!! So...I woke up at noon today. I did have classes from 10:30-12:30...my alarm didn't wake me up though! Uh oh...oh well, nothing I can do about it now. So after I woke up, I called my mom and convinced her to come out here and visit me. She came out with one of my neighbors, who I love!! She is so awesome, and I had a fabulous time with both of them. I'm so glad they came out to see me. I can't wait to be home for the summer. This semester can't end soon enough at this point. 11:22 pm - Vaginas Rule!!!! So, my school gave a presentation of the Vagina Monologues...Girls who don't normally act came up and performed some of the stories from the Broadway show. It was amazing!!!! The stories ranged from a woman's right to wear a short skirt, to moans, to the horrors of tampons...Some stories were funny, some were sad, it was all wonderful though!!! It was powerful and scary and empowering and just awesome!! I recommend everyone go see it as soon as possible. The best part of the show was seeing the crowd react when they related to something being said onstage...which happened a lot. Even the men of the audience seemed to enjoy it. All in all, it was a wonderful evening. I am so glad I went to see it!! Current Mood: impressed Current Music: Girls just wanna have fun

01:19 pm - I LOVE SPRING!!! Wow, it's beautiful out!! I love hot weather. And...lucky me...my afternoon class got cancelled today, so I can enjoy the weather. As soon as one of my friends gets out of class, we are going to go sit outside. Then tonight I get to go watch the FSC lacrosse team play. YAY!!!!!
